In building the most dynamic and competitive economy, the Future 100 initiative, championed by the UAE Ministry of Economy and the Government Development and the Future Office, lists and accelerates leading enterprises in the United Arab Emirates making promising contributions to the UAE’s future economic sectors.

Target Sectors and Technologies

The targeted sectors include advanced manufacturing, agritech, biotechnology, creative industries, cybersecurity, edutech, fintech, healthtech, intelligent mobility, renewable energy, space, and sustainability and the environment. Advanced technologies that the initiative focuses on include artificial intelligence, robotics, 3D printing, IoT, web 3.0, blockchain, shared economy, and the metaverse.

Methodology

The initiative focuses on startups and scaleups with significant operations in the UAE and not exceeding 250 full-time employees. Companies were selected through direct applications, and nominations made by leading UAE entrepreneurship ecosystem stakeholders. Shortlisted candidates underwent online interviews with expert panels and were assessed based on innovativeness, business model & viability, market potential, and environment, sustainability, and governance (ESG).

The companies are listed in alphabetical order, and the list is applicable to the year 2023.
