Gaming, Esports, and Web3 Industry Leaders to Gather at Global Games Show in Riyadh From June 29-30, 2026

Riyadh will host the Global Games Show on June 29-30, 2026, bringing together gaming industry leaders, esports professionals, developers, investors, content creators, publishers, and policymakers to discuss the future of interactive entertainment.

Organized by VAP Group and powered by Times of Games, the two-day event is expected to attract more than 10,000 attendees, alongside 100 exhibitors and sponsors and over 200 regional and international media representatives.

Global Games Show

The event will cover a broad range of topics across gaming, esports, Web3 gaming, content creation, game development, digital entertainment, and emerging technologies. Attendees will have access to keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, networking sessions, and technology demonstrations.

Featured speakers include Elie Honain, Chief Executive Officer of NES; Majed Aleid, CIRO and Director at the Ministry of Investment (MISA); Johnson Yeh, Founder and CEO of Ambrus Studio; Malak AlQhtani, CEO and Founder of Valar Club; and Xzit Thamer, Gaming Content Creator and PlayStation Playmaker working with TikTok and Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Previous editions of the Global Games Show have featured speakers including Yat Siu, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Animoca Brands; Johnson Yeh, Founder and CEO of ROEHL and Ambrus Studio; Dirk Lueth, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Uplandme, Inc.; Paul Dawalibi, CEO of Holodeck Ventures; Ilman Shazhaev, Founder of Farcana; Klaus Kajetski, Founder and CEO of YaLLa Esports; Jonathan Bouzanquet, Chief Strategy Officer and Founder of PLAYA3ULL Games; and Assad Dar, Co-Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Medieval Empires.

The conference agenda will examine developments across gaming technology, esports, game publishing, game development, monetization models, and interactive entertainment. Sessions will also explore emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, immersive experiences, augmented and virtual reality, and the role of Web3 in gaming.

The event will feature demonstrations of gaming technologies and immersive experiences, providing attendees with opportunities to explore new products, platforms, and industry trends.

A key component of the show will be networking and business matchmaking, with dedicated opportunities for developers, publishers, investors, esports organizations, startups, and industry stakeholders to connect and explore partnerships. Startup developers will also have the opportunity to showcase new gaming projects and technologies.

Organizers say the event will highlight Saudi Arabia’s growing role within the gaming and esports sectors as the Kingdom continues to invest in digital entertainment and interactive technologies as part of its Vision 2030 objectives.

The Global Games Show will be co-located with the Global AI Show and the Global Blockchain Show. Attendees will be able to access all three events through a single ticket, creating opportunities for collaboration across the gaming, artificial intelligence, and blockchain sectors.
