Dubai-founded personal training technology company Enhance has raised US$18.2 million in equity and venture debt to accelerate its expansion in the United States.
The funding includes equity investment from Global Ventures, a UAE-based venture capital firm, and venture debt from Stride Ventures, an India-headquartered global venture debt and growth credit fund.
“We are delighted to add growth capital and to diversify our capital structure, from a position of strength. We are becoming the global operating system for Personal Training, amid the popularity in the United States – the world’s largest gym market – of our GCC-built SaaS platform that redefines how PT services are delivered and managed,” Tarek Mounir, founder and CEO of Enhance, said. “With more US expansion ahead, and the prospect of other international markets being perfectly suited to our system – we look forward to the future with confidence.”
The company said mature high-volume, low-price gym locations using its platform can generate personal training revenue of up to US$85,000 per club per month.
Over the next three to five years, Enhance aims to become the standard operating platform for the US$42 billion global personal training market. The company said there is currently no established operating-system category dedicated to personal training, a gap it aims to fill as it pursues partnerships with major US gym operators to manage their personal training operations end to end.
Founded in Dubai in 2018, Enhance provides software for managing personal training operations. Its platform covers more than 700 contracted gym locations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and the US, supporting more than 15,000 personal trainers and over 500,000 booked sessions a month.
In the GCC, Enhance runs personal training operations for GymNation across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain, with Saudi Arabia its fastest-growing market outside the US. The company said its revenue has grown at a compound annual growth rate of 65% since 2019.
Enhance has licensed its enterprise software in the US since January 2025 and said it is now deployed across more than 700 clubs operated by chains including Crunch Fitness, In-Shape Family Fitness, UFC Gym and PureGym USA.
