Saudi Venture Capital Appoints Nora Alsarhan as CEO
Alsarhan will succeed Dr. Nabeel Koshak, who has served as CEO since 2019. He will remain on the company’s board of directors after the transition.

Saudi Venture Capital (SVC), a government-backed investment firm, has appointed Nora Alsarhan as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2026, following a Board of Directors resolution issued on June 3, 2026.
Alsarhan currently serves as Deputy CEO and Chief Investment Officer at SVC. She has held senior roles at the firm since joining in June 2019.
The appointment is part of a board-approved succession plan to ensure an orderly leadership transition and support its continued growth in Saudi Arabia’s private capital sector, SVC said in a press release.
Alsarhan will succeed Dr. Nabeel Koshak, who has served as CEO since 2019. He will remain on the company’s board of directors after the transition.
Under Koshak’s tenure, the firm expanded its investment activities across venture capital and other private capital segments.
Since establishment in 2018, SVC has invested in more than 65 funds spanning venture capital, private equity, venture debt, and private credit, which in turn have backed more than 1,000 startups and SMEs.
