UAE Hotel Revenues Hit AED49.2 Billion; Guests Reach Record 32.3 Million in 2025

UAE hotel revenues rose 9.7% to AED49.21 billion in 2025, with guest numbers hitting a record 32.34 million, according to Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri.

Hotel revenues across the UAE climbed to AED49.21 billion in 2025, marking a 9.7% increase from the previous year, said Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri.

Speaking at the second meeting of the Emirates Tourism Council 2026, Bin Touq said the growth reflects strong sector performance, with hotel guests reaching a record 32.34 million, up 5.2% from 2024.

The increase also came alongside higher hotel occupancy, which reached 79.3%. Total hotel nights exceeded 110.62 million in 2025, up 5.9% from the previous year, while the number of hotel rooms stood at 217,000 by the end of 2025.

With these figures, Bin Touq said the UAE has consolidated its position as a leading and resilient global model in tourism, built on proactiveness, high readiness, and rapid crisis response.

During the meeting held in Ras Al Khaimah, the council also discussed new action plans to speed up tourism recovery and support its growth and sustainability in the UAE, amid regional conditions affecting travel and tourism.
