The Mastercard AI Forum, held on May 16, 2024 in collaboration with the DIFC Innovation Hub, explored some of the key points of intersection between artificial intelligence (AI) and human ingenuity.

The forum, attended by industry leaders and experts from across the region, provided an in-depth look at the transformative potential of AI across various sectors, while also looking at the merging of human intelligence and ethics with advancements within AI.

On the sidelines of the event, we spoke with Amnah Ajmal, Executive Vice President, Market Development, Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa, Mastercard, to gain her insights on how the latest trends within the fintech space are aided by AI.

We also caught up with Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, a UAE-based on-premise AI platform that offers business insights and new perspectives.
