Omani footwear label Luvashk presented its latest collection at Paris Fashion Week, introducing a new take on the ballerina heel through a series of polka dot designs. The presentation brought together Luvashk’s footwear and fashion pieces from Songs of Siren, the Los Angeles-based label founded by designer Tinka Weener, as well as collaborations with MLCS-Boutique and Sasha Donnellan, bringing together creative voices from across the fashion industry.

The new collection arrives as polka dots make their way back into the fashion conversation, appearing across apparel, accessories and lifestyle this season. Rather than simply following the resurgence of the print, Luvashk has translated it into its own signature language, using the pattern across its ballerina-inspired heels to create a collection that feels playful and contemporary while remaining easy to style.

Inspired by Paris in autumn, the collection brings the season’s renewed interest in polka dots to Luvashk’s bestselling ballerina silhouette. Combining feminine detailing with a focus on comfort and versatility, the designs are intended to move between daytime dressing and evening looks.

A New Take On The Ballerina Heel

The collection builds on Luvashk’s bestselling ballerina designs while giving the silhouette a more expressive point of view.

What sets the collection apart is the combination of polka dot patterns with delicate lace and Swarovski embellishment, giving the classic ballerina heel a more distinctive and elevated finish.
Designed with comfort and versatility in mind, the heels are made to move easily between different parts of the day and different wardrobes. They can be paired with tailoring, denim and everyday looks, or styled with dresses and evening pieces, allowing the same silhouette to feel distinctly different from one look to the next.

More Than A Seasonal Trend

For Luvashk, the polka dot is part of a larger approach to design in which every collection begins with a story, a place or a particular feeling.

Founded in 2021, the brand was created to bring together heritage and contemporary fashion through footwear, with each collection drawing on a different source of inspiration. The pink ballerina design, for example, was inspired by Salalah, while the brand’s red leather designs draw from New York. For its latest collection, Luvashk looked to Paris, translating the city’s fashion identity into the polka dot. This storytelling approach is intended to make each piece feel connected to something beyond the product itself, while still allowing the wearer to interpret it in her own way.

The founder comes from a family with a background in fashion and created Luvashk after identifying an opportunity to develop footwear through a more personal and culturally inspired design lens. The brand’s ambition has been to create pieces that draw from its roots while remaining relevant to women beyond the region.

“Luvashk was created with a very clear vision, to take the stories, heritage and spirit that inspire us and translate them into contemporary fashion that women anywhere in the world can connect with,” said Laila Fadhil, the founder of Luvashk. “I don’t want our designs to simply be beautiful pieces. I want every collection to have a story and a purpose behind it, and for the woman wearing it to feel that she is carrying part of that story with her. Our ambition is to build a globally recognised fashion house that carries its Omani identity with confidence, while creating designs that speak to women around the world.”
That vision is reflected in Luvashk’s growing international following, with approximately 90% of its customers based outside its home market. As the brand continues to expand, its focus remains on creating fashion with a distinct sense of origin, while building a presence that extends well beyond it.

A Global Chapter For Luvashk

The Polka Dot Collection represents the next chapter in Luvashk’s ambition to build a globally recognised fashion house with a distinctive identity.

The brand’s international direction follows recognition at The Origin 2026, where Luvashk’s founder was named Entrepreneur of the Year for her work in fashion and entrepreneurship, the award marks a recent milestone in the brand’s development.

Luvashk’s work also extends beyond its collections through collaborations that connect fashion with wider causes. The brand is working with Dar Al Atta’a to support initiatives related to heart patients, reflecting its belief that its designs and collaborations can carry a wider sense of purpose.

For Luvashk, the initiative reflects a broader belief that the growth of a fashion brand can create an impact beyond its products. As the brand expands internationally, it intends to continue connecting its collections and partnerships with causes that carry a social meaning.

The Polka Dot Collection is now available on the Luvashk website, with prices starting from AED 600 and worldwide shipping available.
