Artificial intelligence is laying the foundation for the next generation of trillion-dollar businesses, according to Abdulla Kanoo, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of ARP Digital.

Speaking to Entrepreneur Middle East at Money Expo 2026, Kanoo argued that the technologies capable of creating the world’s next trillion-dollar companies will be those with the ability to generate value across multiple industries. In his view, AI has already established itself as that enabling force, accelerating productivity across sectors ranging from financial services and engineering to robotics and software development.

Kanoo also highlighted the Middle East’s growing influence within the global fintech landscape, describing the region as a strategic “hyperconnector” capable of bridging developed and emerging markets. While established financial systems often rely on legacy infrastructure, he believes the Middle East is uniquely positioned to drive the next wave of financial innovation through agile regulation, digital-first ecosystems, and cross-border connectivity.

Looking ahead, Kanoo predicted that the transition from physical cash to digital forms of money will continue to accelerate. As digital assets become increasingly embedded within the global financial system, he suggested that the future of finance will be defined by greater digitisation, efficiency, and interoperability.
