Hosam Arab is the Co-Founder and CEO of Tabby, a Riyadh-headquartered fintech company he launched in 2019 with Daniil Barkalov. He previously co-founded Namshi, the regional online fashion retailer acquired by Emaar in 2019, and earlier worked across engineering, advisory, and private equity.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Under his leadership, Tabby has grown into one of MENA’s leading consumer finance platforms, serving more than 25 million registered users across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Kuwait.
The company partners with over 65,000 brands and businesses, processes more than US$18 billion in annualized transaction volume, acquired Saudi digital wallet Tweeq in 2024, and reached a US$4.5 billion valuation in 2025.
