Hisham Ezz Al-Arab was reappointed CEO and Executive Board Member of the Commercial International Bank (CIB)- Egypt in 2024, after serving as its Chairman from 2023. Prior to his appointment, Ezz Al-Arab served as an advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt in 2022, and founded and chaired HE Advisory in 2020.
He was also a former Chairman and Managing Director of CIB from 2002 to 2020. Before CIB, Ezz Al-Arab held banking roles at Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, and JPMorgan in London. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the CIB Foundation.
