Nutribox’s Noora Saleh Al-Askar: ‘Treps Shouldn’t Let Bigger Players Intimidate Them

On the sidelines of Sharjah Entrepreneurship 2018, Noora Saleh Al-Askar, founder and CEO of Nutribox, talked about the importance of perseverance.

At the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2018‘s Startup Town, which showcased more than 70 startups, Entrepreneur Middle East chatted with Noora Saleh Al-Askar, founder and CEO of Nutribox, a healthy living app guiding the Arab world on how to lead a healthy life, starting with consulting with a personal nutritionaist at the touch of a button. Advising other entrepreneurs, Al-Askar asserted the importance of persevering through one’s struggles. “If you see an opportunity, don’t let bigger players intimidate you,” she says. “If you can solve that problem better, and you truly believe in it, go for it.”

Organized by Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center, Sheraa, the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SharjahEF) 2018 gathered more than 3,000 attendees consisting of youth, entrepreneurs, government partners, investors and industry veterans. The two-day event featured more than 100 prominent local, regional and international speakers.
