Anthropic could make its stock market debut as early as September or the beginning of October, with the artificial intelligence company expected to publish its IPO financial documents within the coming weeks.

The Claude developer has already filed confidentially for an initial public offering and is moving toward a potential listing later this year. The timing would put Anthropic among the most closely watched technology IPOs of 2026.

As it prepares to approach public-market investors, Anthropic is expected to present a total addressable market of more than US$30 trillion, according to The Wall Street Journal. The figure would exceed the US$28.5 trillion market opportunity presented by SpaceX before its June stock market debut.

A total addressable market, or TAM, represents the potential annual revenue available if a company were to capture the entirety of the markets it serves. Anthropic’s estimate is based on the range of tasks it believes could eventually be automated using artificial intelligence.

The projected market opportunity comes as Anthropic records rapid revenue growth ahead of the potential listing.

Its annualized revenue run rate exceeded US$65 billion at the end of July, up from US$47 billion in May and about US$9 billion at the end of 2025. The increase from May to July was about 38%.

Anthropic is also projecting annual revenue of about US$190 billion to US$200 billion by 2028, Reuters reported. Even at the top end of that forecast, the company would generate revenue equivalent to less than 1% of its projected US$30 trillion addressable market.

The company was valued at US$965 billion in May after raising US$65 billion in a Series H funding round, more than double its US$380 billion valuation in February.
