Apple introduced iPhone Duo, the company’s first foldable iPhone, marking new CEO John Ternus’s debut product launch since he took over from Tim Cook on September 1, 2026.
Opened, iPhone Duo has a 7.6-inch inner display and is the thinnest iPhone Apple has made. Closed, its 5.4-inch outer display offers 90% of the screen area of the iPhone 18 Pro.

The device runs on the new A20 Pro chip, with a custom vapor chamber for thermal management and a dual-battery architecture. It ships with iOS 27, redesigned for the foldable format.
iPhone Duo comes in star white and night sky. Pre-orders open Friday, October 16, with availability from Friday, October 23.
