Abdulrahman bin Fahad bin Faisal Al-Thani is the Group CEO of Doha Bank, a position he has held since 2023 after serving as Deputy CEO from 2022. With nearly two decades of experience in Qatar’s banking sector, he previously held senior leadership roles at Dukhan Bank and Qatar International Islamic Bank across retail, corporate, international, private, and Islamic banking. Al-Thani holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management from Northumbria University, U.K. Under his leadership, Doha Bank reported total assets of US$32.8 billion and net profit of US$204.8 million in the first nine months of 2025. The bank also issued a US$500 million bond that was nearly four times oversubscribed with a US$1.8 billion order book, while launching Tadbeer Mobile for corporate banking and revamping its card portfolio.
