Qurat Ul Ain is the co-founder and Chief Leadership Officer (CLO) of DRE Homes Real Estate, a Dubai-based brokerage that has grown into an established player in the UAE’s property sector. Since co-founding the company alongside her brother, Mudasir Wani, CEO, she has helped oversee its expansion across multiple segments of the market, including off-plan sales, secondary sales, leasing, property management, and holiday homes.
Her journey in real estate began through her family’s property business. Following the departure of her uncle during the market slowdown that followed the 2008 global financial crisis, the siblings assumed responsibility for the business and focused on rebuilding its operations. During a period of uncertainty in the property market, they concentrated on leasing before gradually expanding into property sales as market conditions improved.
One of the company’s early milestones was securing a large commercial transaction involving 14 floors for a billionaire client. The deal helped establish DRE Homes’ presence in Dubai’s commercial property market and contributed to the firm’s subsequent expansion.
In 2007, they launched DRE Homes, and over the years, the company has expanded its operations and established relationships with several of Dubai’s leading developers. Today, it operates from its 14,000-square-foot headquarters in Dubai Hills Estate and has grown to a team of around 200 professionals. Its services cover the full property cycle, from sales and leasing to property management and holiday homes, serving both investors and end users in the UAE market.
Under Qurat’s leadership, DRE Homes has received several industry recognitions. In 2024, the company received the Black Onyx Platinum Award from Dubai Holding after achieving AED2 billion in sales with developments by Meraas and Nakheel, reflecting DRE’s continued growth and long-standing relationships with major developers in Dubai.
In addition to earning a master’s degree in International Business from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, Qurat has also received industry recognition for her contributions to the UAE real estate sector. In 2024, she was named Top Female Entrepreneur in Real Estate at the Ultimate Realty Awards.
As Chief Leadership Officer, she oversees talent development, organizational culture, and leadership initiatives across the company. She places particular emphasis on developing future industry professionals through mentoring and structured training programs. One of these initiatives is the DRE Academy, which focuses on preparing aspiring real estate agents with practical industry knowledge and professional skills.
Technology and innovation also form part of her long-term strategy for the business. She supports the adoption of artificial intelligence, digital marketing, and technology-driven processes to improve client service and operational efficiency. At the same time, she continues to advocate for ethical business practices, transparency, and long-term client relationships as the foundation of sustainable growth.
Qurat Ul Ain has also observed the evolution of Dubai’s property market, noting the growing participation of end users alongside investors. She believes this shift reflects the maturity of the market and supports long-term stability for the sector. Beyond business growth, she has championed initiatives that promote professional development and greater participation of women in leadership. Through mentoring and leadership development, she encourages professionals to build sustainable careers while maintaining high standards of integrity and client service.
As DRE Homes continues to expand its presence in Dubai and explore opportunities across the region, Qurat Ul Ain remains focused on strengthening the company’s capabilities through talent development, technology adoption, and customerfocused services. Her leadership has helped position DRE Homes as a growing player in the UAE real estate industry while contributing to the sector’s continued evolution.
