Legend Holding Group, a Dubai-headquartered diversified enterprise, has signed a strategic partnership and joint venture with Swapp, the UAE-based car subscription platform, committing a dedicated fleet valued at over USD20 million.

Under the agreement, Legend Rent a Car will initially supply 1,000 vehicles to be listed on the Swapp platform, with plans to expand the fleet across the UAE and the wider GCC region through 2026.

The arrangement marks a shift in Swapp’s operating model, moving from a pure marketplace-based to a hybrid platform that includes a dedicated fleet partner to help stabilize vehicle supply, while maintaining a capital-efficient model. This expands access to a broader range of vehicles at competitive price points and includes insurance, protection, and vehicle care.

The fleet will include models from manufacturers such as Kaiyi, Chevrolet, Geely and MG.

The partnership builds on Swapp’s existing relationship with ride-hailing and delivery company Careem, which acquired a minority stake in the platform in 2025. Swapp is integrated into the Careem Everything App through its mobility services offering.
