Tabby Valued at US$6.5 Billion After Raising US$233 Million

Saudi-based fintech Tabby has raised US$233 million in equity funding, valuing the company at US$6.5 billion as it expands its financial services across the Kingdom and the UAE.
Hong Kong-based investment firm Blue Pool Capital led the Series F equity round, with participation from existing investors HSG, Wellington Management, and Arbor Ventures. Tabby said the funding will support its expansion beyond buy now, pay later services.
The funding round also includes a liquidity option for employees. Tabby said it has facilitated more than US$100 million in share sales for current and former employees since 2023.
The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals, including from the Saudi Central Bank.
Founded in the UAE in 2019, Tabby relocated its headquarters to Saudi Arabia in 2023. The company currently processes more than US$18 billion in annualized transaction volume across 25 million registered users and 70,000 business partners.
In Saudi Arabia, Tabby holds consumer and small and medium-sized enterprise finance licenses and has also acquired SAMA-licensed digital wallet Tweeq in 2024.
In the UAE, Tabby obtained a Stored Value Facilities license from the Central Bank of the UAE to launch Tabby Cash, which offers payment cards, cash back, and local and international money transfers.
