VivaTech, Europe’s largest startup and technology event, has announced the participation of Dave Limp, CEO of Blue Origin, an American aerospace company by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, at its landmark 10th anniversary edition taking place in Paris from June 17-20, 2026.

The annual event brings together startups, technology leaders, major corporations, and investors to explore solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges and accelerate innovation through collaboration.

A leading figure in the emerging space economy, Limp will take part in a conversation moderated by Mike Massimino, former NASA astronaut, bestselling author, and one of the most recognized voices in space exploration. Since joining Blue Origin in December 2023, Limp has overseen a significant transformation of the company, advancing its efforts to build the infrastructure required for long-term commercial activity in space.

Before joining Blue Origin, Limp spent 14 years at Amazon as Senior Vice President, where he led the development and launch of products including Alexa, Echo, Kindle, and Fire TV. He is widely recognized for translating ambitious technological visions into large-scale commercial products.

Under his leadership, Blue Origin has accelerated progress across several key programs, including New Glenn, which has successfully reached orbit and landed its booster, as well as the development of rocket engines, launch vehicles, and lunar landers designed to support humanity’s return to the Moon.

Massimino, who participated in multiple NASA missions and played a key role in the historic servicing missions of the Hubble Space Telescope, will bring firsthand operational experience and insight from decades in human spaceflight to the discussion.

The session will offer attendees a rare opportunity to hear from both a leader building the next generation of space infrastructure and an astronaut who has experienced the realities of space exploration firsthand, as they discuss the future of the space industry, innovation, and humanity’s ambitions beyond Earth.

VivaTech serves as a platform for world-premiere technology demonstrations, product launches, and discussions on the most disruptive trends shaping the future of business and society. Over four days, the event convenes innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the world.
