Ziina, a UAE-based financial technology platform, and Virtuzone, a UAE-based business setup consultancy, have announced a partnership to give startups quicker access to payment tools and instant settlement services as soon as they launch.

Under the partnership, entrepreneurs setting up companies through Virtuzone will gain access to Ziina’s digital payment system, enabling them to accept transactions both online and in person through a single platform.

“Through our partnership with Virtuzone, founders can easily deploy Ziina’s payment solutions, enabling them to accept payments, access funds instantly, and manage cash flow with greater control from day one,” said Faisal Toukan, Co-founder and CEO of Ziina.

Ziina’s platform allows merchants to accept payments in several ways, including payment links, QR code payments, Tap to Pay, card acceptance, and bank transfers.

With instant settlement, merchants can access funds immediately after receiving payments, which they can use to transact and spend via the Ziina Card within the app.

“Payment acceptance represents a critical component of that readiness,” said George Hojeige, Group CEO of Virtuzone. “Integrating Ziina into the Virtuzone ecosystem provides our clients with a seamless, regulated solution aligned with the realities of modern commerce in the UAE.”

Research from Visa shows that more than 70 percent of UAE merchants reported increased revenue after adopting digital payments, with 68 percent linking business growth to accepting multiple payment methods.

The partnership comes as small and medium-sized enterprises continue to dominate the UAE’s business landscape. According to the Ministry of Economy, SMEs account for more than 94% of companies registered in the country and employ about 86% of the private-sector workforce.
