Amazon Prime Video Comes To The UAE

Amazon’s popular streaming service Amazon Prime Video is now available in the UAE.

Home to shows like The Grand Tour, hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May of Top Gear, Amazon Prime has now lined up alongside other subscription platforms such as Netflix, ICFlix and OSN Play. The launch in the UAE is part of a global expansion, which plans on bring the service to more than 200 territories worldwide.

“We are excited to announce that starting today, fans around the world have access to Prime Video,” said Tim Leslie, Vice President, International, Prime Video. “The Grand Tour and other critically acclaimed Amazon Original Series like Transparent, Mozart in the Jungle, and The Man in the High Castle, along with hundreds of popular Hollywood movies and TV shows, are now available at the introductory price of only AED11 a month. And what’s really exciting is that we are just getting started.”

The service is priced at an introductory price of US$2.99 (AED11) a month for six months (usual price $5.99 a month), with a free seven day trial as well.
