Saudi-Based Developer OSUS Begins Construction on ‘10-Minute City’ Project OSUS Eye

The concept aims to create a connected urban destination where residents and visitors can access everyday services and amenities within 10 minutes.

OSUS, a Saudi-based real estate developer, has announced the start of construction on OSUS Eye, a mixed-use development designed around its “10-Minute City” concept.

The project in Riyadh will bring residential, hospitality, retail, workplace and entertainment spaces into one connected development, with daily services and destinations intended to be accessible within 10 minutes.

The current phase includes the implementation of construction works in accordance with the approved scopes of work, alongside ongoing on-site monitoring and enhanced coordination among the design, project management, and execution teams.

“Construction is now underway at OSUS Eye, moving its 10-minute city vision forward alongside a global network of partners in design, hospitality, and operations,” Anas Almajid, CEO of OSUS, said.

International companies involved in the development of OSUS Eye include Hilton, which will operate the hotel and branded residences; architecture firm RMJM, which is responsible for the master design; landscape architecture firm Cracknell; and hospitality and entertainment consultancy TRI.

OSUS said construction is progressing according to the project’s approved timeline.
