Tony Cripps is the Managing Director and CEO of Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB), a position he has held since 2021. With more than 40 years of experience in international banking, he previously served as CEO of HSBC Singapore and HSBC Australia, and was a Group General Manager at HSBC Group. He also serves on the boards of SAB, HSBC Saudi Arabia, and SAB Invest. Cripps holds AFMA Australia (Financial Markets) and SFE Australia (Accredited Futures Traders License) qualifications. Under his leadership, SAB has continued its transformation following its merger with Alawwal Bank, strengthening its position as one of Saudi Arabia’s largest banks. The bank operates a nationwide network and continues to expand its digital banking capabilities while supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 agenda.
