Ghayath Sioufi, founder of CAP.G Ventures, has launched MEDESTHS, a new strategic playbook for the medical aesthetics industry that aims to help brands better understand, measure and influence patient demand across the MENA region.

Developed from more than 25 years of commercial leadership experiences coupled with a decade in the medical aesthetics industry, the playbook introduces what Sioufi calls the pull-through effect, a framework focused on helping brands move beyond traditional awareness metrics and understand whether marketing efforts are translating into patient preference and treatment demand.

The launch comes as competition across the medical aesthetics sector continues to intensify, with manufacturers and distributors under increasing pressure to demonstrate the commercial impact of their marketing investments. While brands routinely track metrics such as awareness, engagement and physician relationships, many still lack a structured way to measure whether patients are actively requesting their products at the clinic level.

“The industry has become very good at measuring activity,” said Sioufi. “What remains difficult is measuring influence. Did a patient walk into a clinic specifically asking for your brand? Did your marketing change behaviour? Most organisations still don’t have a framework to answer those questions.”

MEDESTHS introduces a methodology for measuring patient demand through a proprietary pull-through rate framework, alongside a 90-day implementation roadmap designed to help commercial and marketing teams apply the model within existing business structures.

According to Sioufi, the objective is to give brands a clearer understanding of how marketing efforts influence patient behaviour and ultimately contribute to commercial outcomes.

“For years, medical aesthetics marketing has largely been built around pushing information through channels,” he said. The next chapter is about creating pull. When patients begin asking for a product by name, the conversation changes completely. That is where marketing becomes measurable.”

To accompany the launch, CAP.G Ventures has also released a complimentary diagnostic extract highlighting eleven common commercial and marketing challenges observed across medical aesthetics organisations operating in MENA.

MEDESTHS is available exclusively through CAP.G Ventures.
